Growing up on the farm, I remember spending many days with my great grandmother and great uncle who lived in a small farm house just across the hay field from our house. I spent countless hours working on the farm and helping all of the family with anything that needed to be done. But my most exciting memories came from getting to operate the equipment. My uncle didn’t let just anyone drive his trucks or tractors so it was a huge accomplishment to earn that privilege.

Many years later I found myself longing for the days of being on the farm. I remember so many little things that I learned and then I think about how my career took me into the media world.

So, in an effort to create something that adds value for farmers and can at some point help me and our family have financial freedom, we are launching this media brand. This is a family effort with input from all of our children and hopefully it might be something that they carry on with long after I’m gone. No matter where we are in the world, we’ll always need farmers and farmer will always need strong reliable equipment.
